The purpose of the Emerging Professionals Network (EPN) is to provide an outlet for associate development activities designed to engage and introduce emerging professionals at SHC to networking, developmental, and service opportunities.

The goals of EPN are:

• Attract, engage, and retain the professional audience and initiate their involvement in SHC culture and the broader Chicagoland community.
• Provide a forum to interact socially, exchange ideas, and share common interests while developing a network with equally ambitious peers.
• Growth and professional development.
• Cultivate the interests and innovative ideas of emerging professional members to develop future leaders of SHC.
