Charitable Partnerships
Sears and Kmart have been part of our nation's homes and
families for more than a century. Today, under the parent
company, Sears Holdings, we continue this rich tradition by
making our community efforts focused on "Supporting our Heroes
and Communities." We achieve this endeavor in three ways:
- Volunteerism: Our stakeholders work at the grassroots level to
strengthen every aspect of community. Whether its coordinating fundraisers
for charitable causes or installing appliances, painting, or outfitting
homes for energy efficiency, these committed experts are changing the lives
of heroes and communities.
- Merchandise donations: Our wide array of products allows us to
help outfit and maintain homes, families, and communities nationwide.
- Monetary donations: By contributing to not-for-profit
organizations whose efforts align with the mission of Sears Holdings, we
have an impact on the greatest number of families. Our not-for-profit
partners have the expertise needed to assess and respond to local community
needs.
Charitable partners include:

How Can We Help?
Sears Holdings limits its community outreach activities to tax-exempt
charitable organizations that support our heroes and communities. While
Sears Holdings has selected its primary charitable partners for this
year, we are open to other requests (volunteer hours, merchandise donations,
charitable partnerships) that are aimed at Supporting our Heroes and
Communities. We believe that our strongest asset is our people, so requests
for volunteer help are highly favored. While we know there are many
deserving organizations, we are unable to honor all requests we receive each
year.
Thank you again for your interest in Sears Holdings.
